The Retail Store Sales Associate will be responsible for all OMNI ecommerce transactions including but not limited to ship from store (SFS), buy online pick up in store (BOPIS), ship to store (S2S), same day delivery (SDD) and ecommerce returns. They will provide a complete shopping experience for customers, involving product knowledge and environmental involvement.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Managing OMNI transactions:
Process all OMNI orders (SFS, BOPIS, S2S, and SDD) daily and in a timely manner.
Manage OMNI orders related customer communications.
Manage E-commerce returns and work with customer service to resolve issues.
Report errors/issues using proper channels in a timely manner and respond to request for more information.
Customer Experience: Greet customers promptly and courteously as they enter the store. Direct customers throughout the store or to the specific area the customer requests. Find out the specific needs of each person that enters the store. Give accurate and current information about order status for all inquiries; if the correct information is not at hand, do everything possible to provide an answer before the customer leaves the store. Understand and effectively communicate the return policy. Maintain a positive and cheerful attitude and cooperate with teamwork. Apply the above standards to all phone inquiries.
Merchandising and Maintenance:
Check inventory levels for products required to fulfill OMNI orders (packages, stickers etc.) and inform appropriate parties for replenishments.
Maintain an organized system for packages ready to be picked up by various carriers for timely shipment, pick up service for SDD orders and in process store pick up orders.
Maintain store image by adhering to the dress code as outlined in the Policy & Procedures Binder.
Maintain a clean and well-organized back-stock area.
Clean employee break area each day.
Report to work on time or notify in advance if absent or late.
Review all omni services training guides and manage timely system needs for the store.
Adhere to service requirements outlined in OMNI reports and work with team members to achieve high scoring standards.
Practice security measures that help prevent theft; understand the procedures for handling shoplifters.
Practice safety consciousness at all times.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to deal with problem situations in a professional manner
Problem solving abilities
Highly motivated, a team player and motivated self-starter Experience working effectively in complex global organizations, satisfying the needs of diverse constituents, and often working under the pressure of competing and sometimes conflicting priorities
Effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, sales reps, customers, and co-workers.
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
High School Diploma
0-2 years of experience
