Every trip to Fashion Outlets of Chicago can make a difference for the schools you love. School Cents turns your everyday shopping into real support for local schools in your community — just upload your receipts to earn points. The more support they get from shoppers like you, the bigger their share of up to $15,000.

How Does School Cents Work?

Earn points for your school every time you shop! Every dollar spent equals 5 points, plus earn bonus points throughout the program at designated stores, restaurants and events.

Support By Shopping

Every purchase you make at Fashion Outlets of Chicago stores and restaurants helps earn points for your school. Simply shop, save your receipts and upload them through the School Cents app or website.

Uploading Is Easy

Take a photo or screenshot of your receipt and submit it through the app or website. Dollars are automatically converted to points and added to your school's total.

Apply for 2026–2027 School Year

Your school is invited to apply for School Cents! Submit your application to be considered for the current 2026–2027 program. Limited spots are still available, don't miss your chance to enroll your school in this year's School Cents program.

School Responsibilities

  • Designate a School Cents Coordinator for your school. This person should be an enthusiastic and committed parent or another volunteer. Your coordinator is responsible for distributing program information and building program recognition and participation for your school. Your School Cents Coordinator is the key to maximizing your school’s fundraising!
  • Your School Cents Coordinator, or other representative from your school, must attend three program meetings. Meetings will take place at the beginning of the school year, early November before the holiday season, and in late January or early February 2027. At the meetings, your school will receive digital flyers with program information and bonus offers to distribute to school supporters. The School Cents Awards check presentation is scheduled for April 2027.
  • Your School Cents Coordinator must distribute program information provided via your school’s newsletters, email blasts, social media and other avenues available at your school to promote School Cents to your school’s families, staff and other supporters. (Samples will be provided.)
Additional Program Information
Space is limited to 10 schools. The center may have a waitlist, and schools will be contacted as participation spots become available.

Schools that do not submit at least $500 in receipts by 2/1/2027 may be eliminated from the program. To help you meet this requirement, we will provide specific information about your school’s participation and offer suggestions about how to increase participation, if needed.
